![]() The tracks with woops, tilted corners, camels, jumps...etc. |
The skier
cross is a mix between ski, jump and motocross. You can
practice it with your friends in all the big ski resort or
if you are a good skier, you can race. But don't forget, you
will be in the track with 4 others skiers. That mean you
really have to manage the jumps, camels or woops if you
don't want to crash into someone. |

If you want to start "fighting", don't forget your helmet and your turtle (back protection) in case you fall or if someone crash into you. The second thing is your brain, you need a good one. You must think very quickly if you want to win. Because of gravity competition in the summer, my brain is now perfect for this kind of competition. You always have to attack. |

Competition works for 1 or 2 days. First the qualification: You ski down in the tracks one by one twice. You must be in the top 32. After that, they make 8 heats with 4 riders each time. The starter is giving the start:" riders ready? In the 5 seconds (he has 5 seconds to open the gate)...GO!!! The door (or gate) is open, you pull the handle you have in front of you and after you push on your sticks. The 2 first skiers are qualifying for the next round until the final. I say fighting when you race, but they are rules. You cannot change your trajectory to cross this others skiers way, and you cannot make "crazy attack". Judge and usually riders check out the rules them self |

I finished 3 because of a silly wipe out on the finish line. Otherwise: 2 |
